The Bethune Institute and Pleasant Green 21st Century Community Learning Center provides academic enrichment in literacy, science, technology, engineering, creative arts and math (STEAM) and cultural and social enrichment to help K-5th grade scholars improve their academic achievement and success in school and in life. We have been a provider of afterschool and summer programming since 2002.

Parents/caregivers may also drop students off. Students must be picked up before 6:00 p.m.
Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade who attend Booker T. Washington and Harrison Elementary school are eligible to enroll in the after school and summer program. Students from other schools may enroll if there is availability. There is no weekly program fee, however there is a $200.00 per child registration fee per year. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
